Die Sehnsucht /

The artist Park Seung Hee chose the title "Die Sehnsucht", meaning "Longing, Yearning" in German, for the current exhibition and explains the birth of the artwork as follows:
The works born from anguish are in a state of flux, aiming to awaken at the boundary between existence and healthy communication. Our breathing space is in a wave state, transitioning to particles when a specific entity intervenes or perceives it. Pascal stated that all existence is a matter of perception, while Buddhism emphasizes "total skepticism," asserting that all existence is a problem of perception.
- Artist's note -
Die Sehnsucht / The Longing
Inside and outside,
Between self and others,
The inner and outer sides,
Spaces and dimensions,
Within the flow of time,
Creating that line,
Trying to erase it,
Cutting through that line, penetrating within,
Then reconnecting the line,
Creating another boundary,
Standing on that line, never to fall asleep.
The beautiful interplay of space and time intertwines with the profound emotions of longing and yearning, portrayed through various colors and mediums in the world of artist Park Seung Hee. We invite you to immerse yourselves in this captivating realm.
